Brewerytown

Brewerytown is one of the hottest neighborhoods in Philly currently. The neighborhood’s name originates from the fact that it is home to eleven breweries that once operated here. The future of the area is quite promising. New restaurants and businesses are popping up everywhere. One can’t help but notice all of the newcomers wandering around the north of Gerard. Brewerytown is a walking neighborhood where you can take a 10 minute walk and end up at the Art museum or wholefoods. You’re far away from University City, the liveliness of its students and lack of available street parking while still being close enough to some of the best public spaces that Philly has to offer. Here you can take a jog or bike ride over to Fairmount park & Kelly Drive or take a walk down Brewerytown’s tree lined streets to a coffee shop and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

The neighborhood’s architecture is a healthy mix between old Philly charm and modern sleek elegance (Thanks in part to developers like Resnick Development Co., V2 Properties, MM Partners & Metropolitan Properties). The new construction showcases a healthy mix of new construction materials that are sure to lure the eye. Facade construction materials include sheet metal, glass & brick, which compliment extruded features of the homes with clean lines that are tied together with carefully picked color palettes.
